The Earth more marvellous than Mars

If water is found on Mars we can expect a big splash in the media! Unfortunately many of them will state that because water exists so does life, but this is not necessarily the case. Water is essential to life as we know it but it's ludicrous to suggest that water and dead chemicals can form themselves into living reproductive cells of incredible complexity.

In the 19th century Percival Lowell said that the long straight lines criss-crossing the surface of Mars showed without doubt the existence of an advanced alien civilisation. However, by the 1950's it became clear that the Martian atmosphere was too thin to support most, if not all, forms of life. There is also no oxygen and there are dangerous levels of ultra violet radiation.

All this is in stark contrast with our beautiful earth situated in what astronomers call the, 'habitable zone'. This is just the right distance from the sun so that it's neither too hot nor too cold for liquid water to exist. In the light of billions of features like this it becomes glaringly obvious that earth was designed by some super intelligence for it to possess so many life support systems. According to the dictionary, a 'system' is 'a number of objects so organised that they form a complete unity'. Organisation can never spring from ignorant matter but only from an intelligent mind!

Our earth is not in a 'multiverse' but a universe! Every celestial body in our own solar system and beyond is held together by one law of gravity, which still remains a profound scientific mystery! The tiniest fluctuation in this force would de-stabilize the universe! However the Bible says, "He (Jesus) is before all things and in Him all things consist", meaning in the Greek, 'Hold together!' [ Colossians 1:17 ]. Behold the One the wise men worshipped!
