The road rager knows he's above average! His tyre pressures are perfect but his blood pressure is rising. His engine temperature is normal but he's boiling over. His car's running smoothly but he's muttering a running commentary. His clutch isn't suffering but his self-control has slipped into revenge mode and reversed the instruction in the ‘Maker's Manual’ which says, "Overcome evil with good." [ Romans 12:21 ].
The good news is that Jesus calmed the raging sea. [ Mark 4:35-41 ] This means He can also calm the raging heart. He says to each of us, “Come to Me … and you will find rest for your souls.” [ Matthew 11:28-30 ]
