The Tsunami has melted millions of hearts and produced the most wonderful global generosity. Doubtless much good will come out of this disaster and although many wonder why God allows such things to happen they still pray to Him.
Prayer is a universal gift from God to all human beings. However, sometimes it takes a tragedy to make us unwrap this priceless gift and use it. The Bible says, “Pray without ceasing.” [1 Thessalonians 5:17] Obviously not always with words! Words can be useful to express our prayers but they are not essential. True prayer comes from the heart. It is better to have a praying heart without words than wordy prayers without heart.
