Britain is a nation of believers – according to the Sun newspaper!
In one of its biggest surveys of readers 70% believe in God. The pole of adults throughout the country showed that:
62% believe children should be raised to believe in God.
44% pray once a week or more.
91% believe stealing to be the biggest sin.
71% believe in the afterlife.
Brian Appleyard, the report’s author said, “For years atheists have been telling us that religious belief is withering and that people have given up praying.” This cannot happen because Jesus said, “I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” [Matthew 16:18] And everything He says comes true!
