The ability of birds to migrate to distant lands is a great mystery. The Golden Plover flies non-stop 4000km from Alaska to Hawaii. If it didn’t have a sophisticated navigational system and the vital information that it must fly in ‘V’ formation, it would never make it!
Just as birds known instinctively about a country they have never seen, so the vast majority of people feel deep within themselves that there is a country called Heaven. They also have their conscience as a compass that shows them when they are wrong but then makes them happy when they turn from their sins to Christ and find pardon, so that one day they can fly away to heaven!
