The marriage of two people to produce children should be inspired by God’s love in sending Jesus to die for us. [Ephesians 5:25] It has little to do with outward beauty but everything to do with how beautiful someone is inside. The moral qualities of love, namely, patience, kindness and unselfishness, put Holy Matrimony on a plain infinitely higher than any other sexual relationships throughout nature. [1 Corinthians chapter 13]
Motivated by God’s love, couples will easily commit themselves to each other for life. They will not sleep together before their wedding day but wait patiently until they can enjoy everything to the full without the pain of a guilty conscience.
