Centuries before Jesus came to earth, it was foretold that He would be born in Bethlehem and that He would be Wonderful, meaning in the Hebrew extraordinary! [ Isaiah 9:6 ] The life of Jesus was wonderful. The Encyclopaedia Britannica carries a 30,000 word entry under His name! The death of Jesus was wonderful because His primary purpose in coming to earth from heaven at Christmas was to die so that all who repent and believe can be forgiven.
Finally there was His wonderful resurrection. Lord Lyndhurst, one of the greatest minds in British legal history once said, “I know pretty well what evidence is, and I tell you, such evidence as that for the resurrection has never been broken down yet.”
