A barber was cutting a man’s hair and they were having a discussion. The man said “If everyone loved God they’d love one another.” The barber replied, “I don’t believe God exists, there’s so much unhappiness.”
The customer left the shop and saw a man with long, dirty, untidy hair and beard. He dashed back into the barber’s and said, “Do you know barbers don’t exist!” “Don’t be stupid, I’m a barber and I’m here.” “No!” said the man, “If you existed there would be no people with long, dirty, untidy hair and beards.” “But,” said the barber, “I do exist but this is what happens when people won’t come to me.” “Exactly,” said the man, “So many people are unhappy because they won’t come to God.”
