Here’s a Bible text message for Mothering Sunday! “Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth.” [Psalm 127:4] Children must be straightened like arrows, polished with politeness and good manners and given a point. It’s sad when they live a pointless life. They need to be inspired by heroic stories of noble people, especially Jesus. Just as an arrow needs a feathered tail, so children need to be given direction and moral stability, especially through teaching them Bible stories. The tip of an arrow is only in the warrior’s hand for a moment, so children are only in the parent’s hands for a few years before they leave the bow string of the home. Your child is precious, handle with prayer.
