For thousands of years people watched kettle lids being pushed up by steam but it wasn’t until 300 years ago that they realised this power could be harnessed. It didn’t matter whether someone was an atheist or very religious everyone agreed that steam engines were the result of intelligent design not chance!
Charles Darwin said, “To suppose that the eye with all its inimitable contrivances could have been formed by natural selection seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest degree.” If a simple steam engine required an intelligent designer how infinitely greater would be the intelligence needed to design and make the human eye?! The Bible says, “He who formed the eye, shall He not see?” [Psalm 94 v 9]. Don’t overlook the obvious!
