Bond comes over 100 times in the Bible and is often where the action is like James Bond! The Apostle Paul wrote from prison, “I suffer trouble as an evil doer even to the point of bonds (chains).” Then triumphantly says, “But the Word of God is not bound!”
Christians love to call themselves bond slaves of Jesus Christ but their bonds of slavery are bonds of love which set them free from fear and fill them with the peace of God. [Colossians 3:14-17] Jesus is the best secret agent for a happy 2007.
