When God gave the Ten Commandments to Moses on Mount Sinai, there were thunderings and lightnings and a thick cloud on the mountain! Then a trumpet sounded louder and louder and the whole mountain quaked greatly so that the people trembled. [Exodus chapters 19 & 20]
The Bible says, “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” [Hebrews 10:31] God is love but He is also just. His standard is perfection so if we break only one commandment heaven’s gates will be closed to us.
The good news is that the Lord Jesus Christ paid the penalty we deserved by dying on the cross. However, we must turn from our sins and ask Him to be our Saviour. Watch this space!
