The seventh of God’s Ten Commandments is, “Thou shalt not commit adultery.” [Exodus 20:14]
The Lord Jesus said, “From the beginning of creation God made us male and female. For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together let not man separate.” [Mark 10:1-9] There are legitimate reasons for divorce, for example if a wife is being so abused that she could die. But adultery is always a sin! The dictionary defines it as, “Violation of the marriage bed. The sexual relation of a married person with one who is not his lawful spouse.” Watch this space.
