Years ago I thought it a huge joke when my baby brother turned his dinner upside down on his head!
King David wrote, "Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul like a weaned child." [Psalm 131]
It's understandable when babies kick and scream and refuse to accept what's put in front of them, but it's arrogance when adults kick against God and think they know better than Him.
Let's humbly accept that God knows best, then relax into the quiet trust of a weaned child
