Consultant psychiatrist Gary Almy said recently, "I regard the brain as a supernatural organ. It is a material thing but one example of its supernaturality is that it contains a software package called, 'conscience'. I therefore regard mental illness or depression as always both physical and spiritual."
If we allow our brain to think logically it will give us an inner confirmation that it was designed and created by God. This humble kind of mind is in perfect harmony with these words from God's book. "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." [Philippians 4:6-7]
