3000 years ago the Queen of Sheba, whom Jesus called, “The Queen of the South” travelled over a thousand miles to Jerusalem because she had heard that God had made Solomon’s kingdom the greatest in the world.
2000 years ago Jesus warned unbelieving people that “The Queen of the South” would rise up in judgement against them because like many today they wouldn’t cross the road to hear the Gospel.
Although the Queen of Sheba had great treasures she was not satisfied. She knew she must make this long journey and ended up crying triumphantly, “The half was not told me!” Today nobody has regretted making a journey of faith to Christ. Even Solomon’s kingdom collapsed, but His never will! [1 Kings chapter 10]
