Why do we say a washing machine goes through its washing cycles because it's been programmed, yet when we refer to the swallow's migration to South Africa we say it's by instinct? Are we too proud to give God credit for programming His creation?
The Bible says, "Since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse." [See Romans ch 1 especially v 20].
A prayer, Help me to be intellectually honest. Open my eyes to see the impossibility of the infinite complexity of every living thing arising accidentally from inert matter when it has obviously come intentionally from the mind of the Creator
