It used to be a joke watching people try to put up an old fashioned deck chair. Today we watch new arrivals on caravan sites trying to follow the instruction book for erecting framed tents and caravan awnings!
The Bible is God’s instruction book and if we don’t follow “the Maker’s guide” it will not be surprising if life is just a jumble of bits and pieces.
It’s wonderful to know that God who guides the migrating birds says in the Bible, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go, I will guide you with my eye.” [Psalm 32 v 8]
When we turn from what’s wrong and ask Jesus to forgive us, we will begin to enjoy the warmth of His smile and the guidance of His eye. [John 14:6]
