The late Sir Bernard Lovell, one time Astronomer Royal, said, “If the universe began with a big bang there must have been a plan at the bang!”
The truth is that everyone on this planet, including scientists, knows that an uncontrolled explosion produces chaos! Instead we find that the universe displays a wonderful uniformity from the stars to the intelligence of every living thing: from the honey bee to the human being.
Because God is timeless and inhabits a timeless zone [Isaiah 57:15] He could have created the universe in 6 days or in no time at all! A quick coming together of the universe poses far fewer problems than a delay of millions of years.
