A PIECE OF PAPER

"I'm a piece of paper," cried a boy to his parents just before Christmas.  Later as the choir sang, “Good King Wenceslas” the King sang, “Hither page come stand by me,” and the penny dropped with the parents!

Here’s a old poem about how people can read us,

We are writing a Gospel, a chapter each day,
By the works that we do and the words that we say,
Men read what we are whether faithful or true
Say, what is the Gospel according to You?!

An epistle is a letter but some think that it’s the wife of an apostle!  To some the apostle Paul wrote, “Clearly you are an epistle of Christ, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is of the heart.”  [2 Corinthians 3:1-3]  Is your heart soft or hard?
