The Golden Rule for every human being was spoken by Jesus nearly 2000 years ago but sadly it is largely forgotten today. This is the rule, “Just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them.” [Luke 6:31-36]
Over a century ago Charles Kingsley wrote a book entitled, ‘The Water Babies’ and one of the characters was Mrs Doasyouwouldbedoneby. This summed up the Golden Rule and raised the moral standard of many children leading them to turn from what they knew was wrong. Many thanked Jesus for dying for their sins on the cross and soon His resurrection power entered many hearts giving them the energy to keep the Golden Rule.
